The First Dialogue Find a device to serve multiple educational needs Integrating textbooks The obvious problems Shrinking the backpacks Finding a device portable enough for students to want to carry Integrating teacher made materials into the device Going Green
Refining Our Questions How can we make teachers utilize their time with students in a better way? How can we use the device to promote interaction between teacher and student? How many tasks could we “jam” into a single device to make students and teachers want to use it? If we were to dream, what would we hope the device could do? The cell phone as a model: mail, web, calendar, etc.
