HERZBERG TWO-FACTORS THEORY

A theory which consist of two factors namely hygiene and motivation that drives employee to perform their job. A subset of Maslow’s Hierarchy theory. Herzberg’s Two-Factors Theory Motivational Factors Hygiene Factors

An extrinsic attributes that accommodating employee to feel satisfaction to perform their job. Example of Hygiene Factors – Salary, Company Policy, Job Security, Working Conditions Herzberg’s Two-Factors Theory: Hygiene Factors

An intrinsic attributes that drives employee feel motivated to perform in order to achieve organization goals. Example of Motivational Factors – Achievement, Recognition, Career Growth Herzberg’s Two-Factors Theory: Motivational Factors
