All About Mrs. Campisi! * This is my 9 th year with the Cobb County School District! I started my career in the Georgia PreKindergarten program. After, I started my Cobb teaching career in south Cobb County at Teasley Elementary school where I taught first and second grade for 6 years. For eleven years I stayed at home and raised my three wonderful boys! For the past three years I have been working here at Ford elementary! I am very excited to be teaching 2 nd grade this year! When I’m not teaching, I enjoy gardening, reading, attending my sons’ sporting events, and going to fun places with my family! I love my job and have a true passion for children! Please indicate if you would like your child’s name, home address, and phone number included in a class directory. I am available to talk to you during my planning and after school. Homework Expectations Homework is closely correlated to our instruction for that day. It is intended to reinforce understanding and build confidence. If you find that your child is having difficulty completing the homework, please let me know so we can adjust the assignment accordingly. Class Blog

Second Grade Spelling Program Students will receive words according to their spelling skill level. 15 new words each week; 10 phonics- related words and 5 High Frequency Words. High Frequency Words will be cumulative throughout the year. Spelling lists will be found in their agendas.
