2. All About Me My experience
My name is Hannah Krug. I am a Georgia native and currently live in Kennesaw, Georgia.
This is my fifth year with the Cobb County school system. I received my Bachelor’s of Science degree from Kennesaw State University and am currently pursuing my Master’s of Education from KSU.This is my third year in First Grade! I absolutely love it and Compton is the best school around! 

3. Classroom Community Expectations for Behavior
Our classroom is a community. In our community, we have rules to help us get along with each other.
Our class rules are: Respect and Teamwork always!

4. My Goals
To provide a meaningful, enriching, and challenging learning environment for all students.
To equip students with the necessary skills to be successful this year and in the future.
We talk a lot about strategies and when and when not to take a short cut!
My hope is to make things easier.

Sight Words help to build confident readers!
Please record your child’s books they read in their agenda. I will be checking each morning for books and signatures!

11. Homework
Phonics: An extension of reading/writing. It is crucial to your child’s academic success. Completing phonics homework is very important!
Math: Math skills that will help to retain strategies previously taught (review)
Writing/penmanship: Will begin to write about books previously read using strategies learned in class. Your child’s penmanship should be very legible.
