9 Report Cards Common Core GPS Standards-based report card –Outlines what each student should know, understand, and be able to do –Clear communication of student’s progress to meeting standards Indicates mastery –3+: exceeds standards –3: consistently meeting the standard –2: progressing toward meeting the standard –1: limited or minimum progress Criteria changes every 9 weeks

11 Daily Agendas & Folders The agenda will come to and from school each day and should be signed every night. Agenda includes a behavior key, specials schedule, and school events. Look for communication from the teacher or school on the “Return to School” side of the communication folder AND on the agenda calendar. Use this folder for any notes, money, or transportation changes.

12 Behavior Key If your child receives a number on a square on the calendar it means they need improvement on the corresponding behavior below. If there is a smiley face on the calendar, that means they did very well that day! 1- Organizes self and materials 8- Works cooperatively 2- Works independently9-Controls talking 3- Asks questions/Seeks help when needed 10- Follows direction 4- Completes tasks in a timely manner 11- Shows respect for peers 5- Uses self-control 12- Shows respect for authority 6- Exhibits good listening skills 13- Shows respect for property 7- Accepts responsibility for behavior
