We are beginning the process of 2 nd semester registration. Your schedule is in draft form, so it may have errors. Today is the first step in identifying errors. In January, after we fix all of the errors, we will provide you with an updated and corrected schedule. Thank you for your help with this process!

2 nd semester registration is a much simpler process than 1 st semester registration. LC classes continue for a FULL YEAR. We have automatically rolled over all of your classes from 1 st semester into 2 nd semester. For most students, there will be no changes to your schedule.

There are a few classes that are only one semester, but the students are automatically enrolled into the new class: CWA  Civics AP US Gov’t  AP Comp Gov’t Psychology (non-AP)  Sociology 9 th Grade Fitness  Health Foods/Nutrition  International Foods

If you are currently in an SVL class that is full year, you will be automatically enrolled into the 2 nd semester class by SVL. However, students enrolled in semester only courses will need to complete an online registration. Semester only courses: Health Intro to Fitness/Intro to Fitness Student Athlete Computer Applications Web Design Civics CWA Washington State History

If you plan to add an SVL class for 2 nd semester, it is YOUR responsibility to go online to the SVL web site and register for 2 nd semester. After you register online, print out the form and bring it to your counselor ASAP to get the required signature to finalize the process.

If you are in Fitness 1 st semester, you are automatically enrolled into Fitness for 2 nd semester. BUT, if you still need Health, you need to write a note on your schedule so we can add Health to your schedule if you are not planning to take it on SVL.

Juniors and Seniors Only: If you want to add NEWTech Skill Center to your schedule, complete a registration form ASAP, found in the Student Office, (this is a 3 class period commitment – 1 st through 3 rd or 4 th through 6 th periods). You will have to drop 3 LC classes to add this option. Seniors Only: If you want to be a Teacher or Office Assistant, you will need to complete a TA form in the Student Office and find a teacher who will take you. Each teacher only gets on TA per semester, and most teachers already have a TA.

Look over your schedule: Make sure you have 6 classes. Make sure there are no errors. If your schedule looks good, registration for you is complete! There is nothing more you need to do. Feel free to keep the registration form or recycle it. You will get a new copy of your schedule in January.

If you need to make a change, please be aware that almost all of our classes are near the maximum enrollment, so it is NOT possible to make all of the requested schedule changes. If you have a schedule change request, write it out on the reverse side in as much detail as possible. It is YOUR responsibility to turn in your schedule change request to the Public Office ASAP.

With almost every LC class full, we WILL NOT accommodate requests for a teacher change for ANY class. Counselors are not making appointments to discuss classes at this time, you must first complete the schedule change request process. Only if necessary, your counselor will call you down to review your request if there is a problem.
