Naviance will NOT let you submit your requests if you pick too many or too few classes. Naviance automatically checks prerequisite grades. If you do not qualify for a class, it will not show up as an option for you. If you sign-up for an Honors/AP class, you must score “Advanced” on the corresponding STAR test.

How to Register Step 6 – Select your choice for “0” period. Space in these classes are limited. If a class is full, you will have the option of putting your name on a wait list or selecting another class. We recommend all student athletes sign up for an academic class for “0” period.

How to Register Step 7 – Select your classes, including electives. For your electives, you will be asked to select alternates. This will tell us which class you want if your first choice does not work in your schedule. Choose 2 semester classes or 2 year classes (not one of each).

How to Register Step 7 – If you are taking a class in “0” period, select “I’m taking this class in 0 period.”

How to Register Step 8 – If you are registered for a “0” period or an after school class – with a total of 60 credits, you may sign up for a Study Hall (or free period if you are a junior or senior) after lunch. This is recommended for our student-athletes.

How to Register Step 9 – Once you have completed all of your selections, click the button “SAVE and VALIDATE Requests” If you made errors, it will tell you what you need to fix. Fix any errors and re-click “SAVE and VALIDATE”.

How to Register Step 9 – If you have selected all of your courses correctly, you will see the message below. Click “SUBMIT FOR APPROVAL.”

Meeting with Counselors You will be meeting individually with your counselor to review your course requests. Please do NOT email or call your counselor with questions. Write your questions down and ask them during your meeting. Below is the schedule.
