Join Now Create Your Account Creating your account is fast and easy. Simply click the Create New Account link and answer a few questions to get started. 2

Be Connected: About You Edit Your Profile Use the My Profile link under Be Connected to provide more information about yourself and to upload your profile picture. My Status – Your status is whatever you’d like to publicly say about how you’re feeling. You can update your status as often as you’d like and include links or pictures that you’d like to share. My Community Dashboard – As you begin to interact with the community and make friends, discussion updates and your friend’s status will appear here. 3

Be Connected: Connecting with Others Connecting Only registered community users are able to find and connect with friends and participate in community discussions. Discussions – You can participate in existing discussions or start discussions on topics that are on your mind. Find Friends – Use the Find Friends link to see a list of recently registered friends or to search the community. 4

Be Connected: Just for You Personal Journal My Journal is a private place for you to track your physical and emotional well being. After you create a journal entry, you’ll see a list of related Community resources that can help. Your Journal entries are private and will not be shared with other Community users. Your Journal entries may be a useful tool in sharing both your emotional and physical journey with your doctors and medical professionals. 5
