6 LinkedIn Adding Connections LinkedIn makes it easy to add new and existing contacts, known as connections. To add a connection, go to Connections. A list of people you may know will appear. If you find someone you'd like to add, select Connect. You can then add a custom message and click Send. You'll be able to see your total number of connections on your profile page Video: How to Add Connections on LinkedIn

7 LinkedIn Finding Jobs LinkedIn allows employers to post job openings to the site. Search for jobs with the Job Search tool. Or, reach out to employers by following different companies on the LinkedIn network. 8 LinkedIn Build Your Network Set aside time every week to create and build your network, join groups, and follow companies. It’s amazing what 30 minutes here and there can do. Set aside time every week to create and build your network. Write this time as an appointment into your planning calendar. Much like an exercise program—it becomes easier the more you do it!

LinkedIn can help you establish yourself as a valuable resource Give you insights into key industries Help you connect with prospects, customers, vendor partners and peers. Fill your network with valuable connections for your business. Go to the Advanced People Search tool and you’ll find numerous ways to search for possible connections. Search by industry, company size. Search to find all the members of a particular group. It’s never about how many connections you make, it’s about having the right connections.
