Where lions live and what they eat Lions live in small parts of Africa. Lions are carnivore that means it eats only other animals. When male lion go hunts for food a other male lion will watch the male lions cubs. After the kill the male lion usually eat first lioness next and cubs get what's left.

What happens when lion get mad at their cubs When lions get mad at their cubs they so there teeth which means leave me alone. When the lion growls and hisses that means I don’t like you stay away from me.

Did you knew Did you knew that the lions scientific name is Panthera leo.The lions belong to The Felidae or cat family. Lions live up to 30 years in captivity and have an average life span of 15 years in the wild. The lion is one of the four big cats in the genus Panthera and a member of the family Felidae. The size of a lion Is 6-ft(2-m). Their weight is 265 to 420 lbs ( 120 to 191 kg).

Females Females are the prime hunters and work together to prey. They do this by splitting into groups. One group chases the animals to a certain area whilst another group waits to ambush the victims.

Males Only male lions boast manes, the impressive fringe of long hair that encircles their heads. Males defend the prides territory which may include some 100 square miles(259 square kilometers) of the grasslands, scrub’ or open woodlands.
