9/23 Do Now  Pg. 32 Why is it important to think about “the audience” (who reads what we write/say) when we think about how to write? Write about a time you made an “audience” mistake because you didn’t think about WHO you were texting/writing/talking to. If you can think of an experience like this, imagine one you may face in the future (i.e. talking to your boss in the same tone and vocabulary as you do with your best friends). What steps will you take in your education to learn more about this idea of “audience” when it comes to your writing? Examples include all the elements of writing (on the black poster).
