M.O.N.K.E.Y Binder Sections Zipper Pouch: should contain 2 sharpened pencils, a pen, and an eraser at all times. If students are bringing money or notes to school for any reason, please put them in this pouch. Assignment Notebook: Students are responsible for writing their homework assignments down each day. The teacher posts it to the class website and on the front board. Homework Folder: The only papers that should be in this folder are the assignments being sent home that night for completion and must be brought back to school the next day.

Monkey Do and Monkey Don’t DO take your binder home each night and bring it back to school each morning. You will lose 1 Class Dojo point every time you forget it! DON’T leave your binder at home, in the car or bus, or at day care. It should come to and from school each day. DO let your parents look through your binder each night. DON’T eat or drink when you are near your binder…It needs to stay clean!. DO put your homework back in your folder as soon as it is finished, then place the binder in your bag. DON’T put papers in your binder that are not school related. DON’T let old papers build up in your binder. DO take very good care of your binder. We use it all year long! DON’T draw or color on your binder… or let anyone else draw or color on it! (siblings or friends) You are responsible for YOUR binder! (not your parents or teachers) NO EXCUSES!
