3. Coming into the Classroom… Sharpen your pencil! –You are not allowed to use the electric sharpener after the bell rings! Take your seat and have your supplies ready. Begin your warm-up. Check your homework from the night before.

4. Supplies PENCILS!!! 1 ½ Inch Binder Notebook Paper 5 Pack of Dividers Red Checking Pen Spiral Notebook Handheld Pencil Sharpener Bring these supplies as soon as you can! We will begin using them on Wednesday!

5. During Class Please do not get up during the class period. If you have a cell phone, it should be turned OFF the entire period. Saying “I don’t know” is NOT an answer!

6. Group Expectations You will be working together as a group a lot in my classroom. To help things move along well, we have to follow certain procedures. We will go into these more tomorrow.

7. Individual Expectations Come to class prepared, with a positive attitude, and ready to learn. Be respectful to yourself, each other, and our learning environment. You will only ever be able to achieve what you believe you can.

8. Grades Tests are worth 60%. –Our test days are Wednesdays and Fridays. Daily Grades are worth 30%. –Daily work includes warm-ups, quizzes, and in class assignments. Homework is worth 10%. –Homework is the best way to prepare for the test!

9. Extra Help I am here on Monday mornings from 8:30 – 8:55, and Thursday afternoons from 4:00 – 4:30 for tutoring. If you want to come in, you have to have a pass from me to get into the building. You must bring your homework!

10. Class Jobs If you are interested in having any of my class jobs, please let me know by Friday! –Receptionist –Calculator King/Queen –Materials Manager –Class Ambassador –Computer Coordinator

11. Leaving Class The bell does not dismiss you, Ms. Bernard does! To leave class on time, we must… –Have all class supplies put away. –All trash picked up. –Be in our seats. Please push in chairs!
