Register and Login Visit To register for Quadrant, sign up using the ‘I am a new user’ tab If you registered with your university address you can login from here If you registered with a personal address (e.g. gmail) you can login from here

1. Creating a project To start a new project click on this button On the first tab, enter a Project Name and Description Then click ‘Next Step’ or you can click on tabs to move between screens.

Creating a project (cont’d) On this page you can create your participant data collection fields. We’ve listed some of the common fields here. Untick the ones you don’t need. You can add specific data fields for your project. The example here is blood type. You can also specify the data field i.e. dropdown list, yes/no, , number, text, etc.

Creating a project (cont’d) We’ve created a basic workflow you may wish to use. If you want to use this workflow, tick this box. If you want to create a tailored workflow, we will show you in a few slides time. If you want to use this workflow, tick this box. You’ve just created your project This is the main screen. You can navigate through Quadrant from this screen. Next, we will add your team members to this project.

2. Adding team members To add team members, click on this button You will see all the team members and their project roles. Click on

Adding team members (cont’d) You add team members by adding their address. If they have registered in Quadrant their will appear. If they have not, Quadrant will offer to them on your behalf. You can also choose their level of access.

3. Add a workflow To add a workflow click on this button You can now see a list of all the project workflows you’ve created. The workflow below is the basic one from the set up. You can assign team members access to certain steps within the workflow for added security. On the next screen we will show you how to tailor a workflow.

4. Add participants To add a participants click on this button You will be shown a list of all of your participants in the study. We will show you how to add participants on the next screen.
