Enhancements - April 2009 Researcher ID Endnote Web
Integration with Endnote Web Create multiple publication lists Post as many as three URLs per publication Search Web of Science by address to locate publications Endnote Web Create/manage Researcher ID publication lists from ENW Save button now at bottom of Edit/New Reference page for simpler navigation In the April 2009 upgrade, users of both Researcher ID and Endnote Web will see enhanced functionality that integrates the two offerings and makes creating, managing and sharing publication lists even easier. -Now post up to three publication lists in Researcher ID that can be viewed, managed and shared through Endnote Web. -Add multiple URLs to your publications to direct others to full text or other sites related to your research. -Adding publications to your lists is now simpler with the addition of the Web of Science address field to the search tool. -Within Endnote Web, your Researcher ID publications lists will appear as groups that can be managed and shared. -Also new in Endnote Web is a navigational enhancement - an additional Save button located at the bottom of the Edit/New Reference page.

Researcher ID Your Researcher ID profile now allows the creation of up to three publication lists *animation*. “My Publications” stores a list of works you have authored that will be displayed within your profile for others to view. Publication lists 1 and 2 are kept private and can be based on any search criteria - keywords, other author names, institutions, or any combination. Use the Add link next to each publication list *animation* to search in Web of Knowledge, Endnote Web, or upload an RIS file you’ve created using bibliographic management software.

RID – add publications In this example I’m searching Web of Science to add publications to my list. In addition to searching by author name, topic, source title and publication year, you can now also search by *animation* author affiliation in the Address field. Once you’ve found publications, select the ones you want to add *animation* and click the Add button. These publications will not only be added to your Researcher ID list, but also to a designated group within Endnote Web.

Endnote Web Within Endnote Web you will see *animation* the three publication lists from Researcher ID in the list of groups on the left navigation bar.

Endnote Web You can also add publications to these lists through the *animation* Collect tab in Endnote Web. In this example I’ve searched PubMed to retrieve articles about Echinacea. Select the publication list *animation* you want from the dropdown menu to add them. Manage these lists from the *2 animations* Organize tab. You can *2 animations* share and rename the groups easily.

ENW edit/save From a saved item in Endnote Web you can *animation* edit the record to include up to *animation* three URLs that will also display in the Researcher ID record. These URLs can be used to link visitors to your Researcher ID profile to the full text of the article or to other websites that you choose. Once you’ve added the URLs *animation* click the new Save button that’s been added to the bottom of the Endnote Web page.

RID The URLs you added in the Endnote Web record will *animation* display here. You can also now view Citation Metrics for each publication list. Just click the *2 animations* “Citation Metrics’ link to display them.
