Wednesday, October 9  Objective: I will start planning my characterization project for The Glass Menagerie by narrowing down my project choice.  Standards: RL , RL , L a, L a  Journal: Describe the character of Jim in a few sentences.

Finish Scene 6 Reading  Readers: Read in a loud and clear voice.  Everyone else:  Listen.  Annotate (5 per scene.)  Answer scene questions.

Characterization Project  New due dates:  Monday, October 21 (Block 5)  Tuesday, October 22 (Block 2, 4, 8)  Take out your rubrics about your summative assessments.  Write down your project plans on the handout.

Menagerie Showcase!  You will be given comment cards (like last unit) to comment on every project presented.  Collages will be displayed around the room  Poetry will be displayed on the wall or read out loud (or both!)  Music will be played  Videos will be shown / Live acts will be presented  You can dress as your character! (keep dress code appropriate! Think Great Gatsby)  Ms. U will bake cookies : ) Feel free to contribute if you like!
