TE Price Book Download Instructions for downloading the TE Published Prices

Before Downloading Information Ensure you have authorization to this application. If you do not, please contact your internal administrator or TE.com In order to use the application you will also require authorization to use your TE account number. The application will only provide access to the published book pricing in your region. The published book pricing will provide you with both direct and distributor prices as well as logistics information. For any questions regarding this application, please contact the TE Help desk.

Download Instructions Log on to TE.com eCommerce web application Under My Account, select – “Price Book Download” Enter your TE account number in the space provided The system will show your account number and location in the space provided.

This screen provides multiple choices to download See next slide for definitions.

Price Change Indicator If you do not select one of the following files to download, the system will default to “All Parts” All Parts – all non-proprietary products will be displayed All Changes – new products, price decreases, price increases, restructured pricing and packaging changes since the last scheduled price change are displayed. Pricing Changes – new products, price decreases, price increases and restructured pricing since the last scheduled price change are displayed. Non-Pricing Changes – products with changes to non-pricing fields since the last scheduled price change are provided.

File Format/Compression Type File Formats: TXT is a text format CSV will provide a excel/access Compression Type: Zip or Gzip Due to the large amount of information provided, the file will be transmitted in a compressed format so you will need a utility to decompress the file. Two popular decompression utilities are WinZip and PK Zip. WinZip 7.0 or higher is recommended. Some of the older versions of WinZip and PKZip may not recognize the GZ file extension.

Filters If you are only requesting product manufactured by one of TE’s Business Units, you may select that Business Unit from the drop down box. Your download will only contain that Business Units Products.

Filters If you have selected a specific TE Business Units product to download, the system will show you the Global Product Lines (GPL) for that specific Business Unit. You have the option to select only specific GPL’s or if you do not select a specific GPL, all product lines for that specific Business Unit will be downloaded.

Downloading After all selections are made, click on the ‘Download’ button. You will receive a message immediately that your request is now in queue.

Messages After you have successfully requested your download, you will receive two messages: –The first message will advise you your request was received: - The second message will advise you that your download is now ready and direct you to go to My Download to retrieve your report and a link. Example: Follow this link to download your file: https.//xxxx

My Download Follow the link to My Downloads Click on the Name of the download A dialog box will Pop Up. In the dialog box, click the SAVE button..

Save the File - Download Select the file location. The file should be either.txt.gz or.csv.gz depending on the format you selected. The download will take approximately 15 minutes depending on your connection speed. When the download is complete you will need to decompress the file. The file should be named.txt.gz or.csv.gz depending on the format you selected
