Remind.com You can sign up to receive homework texts from me daily. I will also send reminder texts before quizzes, tests and notebook checks. Most students are signed up already. text @9d39hc to the number 81010 to sign up.

Grading Classwork 20% Homework 20% Participation – 5 points daily Warm Up – 10 points daily In class assignments – points vary Homework 20% Homework – 10 points each assignment

Grading Tests 50% Notebook 10% Quizzes – points vary Vocab Check Up – 4 points daily Tests – 100 points each chapter Notebook 10% Notebooks are collected and graded at the end of each marking period.

Absences Students have 3 days to hand in missed assignments. Students have 3 days to make up missed quizzes and tests.

Grading Homework Homework is graded on effort. Students must write out problems, show all work and attempt each problem to receive full credit. We go over the homework answers each day in class and students have the opportunity to ask questions.

Homework Incentive Students will receive a homework pass for every 8 complete homework assignments. Homework passes can be used in 2 ways: Excuses a student from one homework assignment Extra credit at the end of the second and fourth marking periods.

Not completing homework Student will receive a 0 out of 10. Student can make up the assignment for half credit by turning it in by the end of the rotation. Parents will be contacted if homework completion becomes a problem.

Calculator TI-84 Plus Graphing Calculator Calculators are needed in class every day.
