2. Expectations I expect you to Be on time for class
Come to class everyday
Complete all assigned work
Participate in classroom discussion
Ask for help if you are having trouble

3. You can expect me to
Be available for help before school, after school (by appt), and periods 5/6/7
Give you a variety of opportunities to demonstrate your understanding of a concept
Respond to s and calls in a timely manner

4. Grading Policies Homework Assigned several times a week
May be checked, collected/graded
If you do not have a calculator at home, you may sign one out over night
Homework is a chance to practice what we learned that day. Do your homework!

5. Participation Grade Participation will be totaled for each quarter.
Every student starts with 100% participation. It’s up to you to keep it!
Participation grade is made up of attendance, PDN sheets, and participation
7 absences = 50% participation MAX!

6. Notebooks
You MUST have either a 3-ring binder or a notebook/folder for class.
If you need one, please let me know.
Notebooks are checked for completion on the day of the unit test (quiz grade)
IF YOU ARE ABSENT, IT IS YOUR RESPOSIBILITY TO GET THE NOTES

7. Late/missing work
All work for a unit must be submitted the day you take the unit exam.
I will mark missing assignments with a zero.
This zero becomes permanent after the unit test
IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO KEEP TRACK OF MISSING ASSIGNMENTS
SKYWARD!

8. Cell Phones If I see it, I take it.
First 3 times, I’ll return it at the end of the period. After 3 strikes, it goes to the grade level office.
All cell phones must be turned in during tests.

9. Bathroom My pass is a clipboard Yes, you must take the whole clipboard
Yes, you must write the date/time/name on both the pass and the signout sheet
Yes, I watch the time
If you must leave this classroom for any reason, you must get a pass from me first!

10. My Website I am working to get my website up to date.
After each unit, I will post that unit’s powerpoint
I will upload all documents to the website
