5 Planners are a Daily assignment
9th graders were given a planner the first week of school. 10th and 11th graders can purchase one from me for $0.75 It is recommended that students carry the planner from class to class. Students can earn up to 6 points extra credit per week in my class by completely filling out their planner daily Must be filled out for each school day the previous week (even if absent) Must be filled out for all 6 classes (5 pts per week – all or nothing) Must be with the student, and student must be present on planner check day You can help your child by: Reinforcing the use of a daily planner for all classes Checking their planner daily and asking them to show you homework that is completed from time to time. (*Signature once per week = 1 pt*) Reminding them of long-term project/paper due dates so that they can break down the work into manageable chunks and helping them study for tests and quizzes
