Wellness: is a state of well-being, or balanced health. It can be achieved through good health habits.

To maintain wellness: – Take care of health problems as they come up. – Try to protect and improve your health.

The Wellness Continuum Health falls somewhere on a line (continuum) from a high level of health to a low level of health. Your CHOICES determine whether YOU have a High or Low level of health.

The Wellness Continuum High Level Wellness (Peak Health) – Practice good health habits and behaviors (stays informed) Pre-Mature Death (Poor Health) – Practice unhealthy habits and behaviors (lacks up to date information)
