5 Physical Health Physical health is the part of health that describes the condition of the body.

6 Physical Health Maintenance of your Physical health:
A. Get 8 hours of sleep every night. B. Eat a nutritious food and have a balanced diet. C. Get plenty of physical activity. D. Practice good hygiene E. Avoid drugs, alcohol, and tobacco.

7 Emotional Health Emotional health: is the way you recognize and deal with your feelings.

8 Emotional health Maintenance of your Emotional health:
A. Express your emotions in words rather than acting them out. B. Accept your strengths and weaknesses and respect yourself. C. Deal with sadness appropriately and in a timely manner.

9 Mental Health Mental Health: is how you deal with life’s demands.

10 Mental Health Maintenance of your Mental health:
A. Recognize and deal with stress in a positive way. B. Accept new ideas. C. Effectively solve problems.

11 Social Health Social health: is the part of health that describes the way that you interact with people.

12 Maintenance of your Social health:
A. Being considerate of other people and their needs. B. Showing respect to others. C. Being dependable. D. Supporting people you care about when they make the right choices. E. Expressing your true feelings.

F. Imagining how you would feel if you were in another person’s place. G. Asking for help when you need it.

14 A good Social health: allows you to have healthy connections with your family, friends, and groups that you have joined. gives you a sense of belonging and helps you feel good about yourself.

For each side of the Health triangle, you will need to write out four examples, from your life, about how you maintain a healthy equilateral triangle. You will be using this information to aide you in the Health Triangle assignment. You will be handed a “Health Triangle assignment”.
