Addressing Failing Grades Possible Consequences Classroom Procedures Letter Grades Come into the classroom quietly and calmly. Sit down in your seat and prepare for class. sharpen pencil follow any instructions posted turn in homework etc. Immediately begin the bell work (if present). During Instruction: listen to the teacher/speaker with full attention no pencil sharpening, talking, moving about the classroom or whispering ask permission by raising your hand and waiting quietly to be called on after instruction, make sure you understand the concept and if not Ask Questions 5. While you are working: a. follow instructions for given task b. use your inside voice (if permitted) c. use your time wisely 6. End of Class: a. don’t pack up until instructed to do so b.
