Module Assembly Most of the week was spend trying to resolve U-axis problems. FNAL has send spare parts. So far have not used any There seem to be 2 separate problems. Random U-axis errors which stop gantry. U-motor going into oscillation when picking up or placing sensors (has happened twice with R7 sensors) Position of pick-up tool on gantry head has been re-adjusted Multiple dry runs were done without problem number #1 reoccurring. Built 15 TOB modules on Friday without problem. TEC modules seems to be more sensitive to the oscillation problem, especially R7 sesnors which are very long. Will start building more this week. Cautiously going back to full production. Week of 12/5 – 12/9/2005
