WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL First Day of School As students find a seat I will start playing the presentation

MATERIALS NEEDED EVERYDAY Textbook 3-ring binder Workbook Calculator Loose Leaf Paper Pencils & Pens Assignment Notebook Materials needed for class on a daily process. TEXTBOOK—self explanatory SPIRAL NOTEBOOK will be used on a daily basis notes can be written in pencil, pen, markers, etc---make them colorful!!!!! FOLDER WITH LOOSE-LEAF PAPER. You will be getting tons of papers in class. You will need to keep them organized. You need the loose-leaf paper for all book assignments CALCULATOR If you have your calculator in class you may use it. NO CALCULTOR—TO BAD---you cannot borrow or share a calculator!! PENS & PENCILS DON’T COME TO CLASS WITH NOTHING TO WRITE WITH!!! ALL assignments must be done in PENCIL. However, notes can be done in pen,gel pens, markers etc. You will also need a red pen for correcting. ASSIGNMENT NOTEBOOK This is for you own advantage. USE IT. I will post daily assignments on the board but it is up to you to write it in your own assignment notebook.

If your study hall is not at the same time as mine tell me and I WILL make myself available for you to come in for some extra help. EXPECTATIONS RESPECT Attendance Homework Class Participation Materials What I expect in my classroom RESPECT The most important aspect. I expect respect for me, yourself and your classmates ATTENDANCE If you miss school consistently you are going to miss out on a lot of learning. It is difficult to catch up HOMEWORK Daily basis You can make corrections on all daily assignments if you turn your corrections in the next day on a separate piece of paper. Realistically you should be able to achieve a 100% on all assignments. However, your goal should be to obtain at least 80% on all assignments. CLASS PARTICIPATION Obviously you need to pay attention and participate in class. This includes TAKING DOWN NOTES!!!! Remember, the examples I go through in class are not for my benefit. MATERIALS You need your materials every day!!
