WHAT IS PROPAGANDA? Propaganda: the use of possibly misleading information to spread a certain point of view (usually political)

EXAMPLES OF PROPOGANDA Newspapers, television, radios, and films spread propaganda  

Bandwagon Why Encouraging people to think or act in some way simply because other people are doing so.

The Propaganda's location Plain Folk The speaker presents him or herself as an average Joe — a common person who can understand and empathize with a listener's concerns.

RUSSIAN PROPAGANDA Glittering Generality An emotionally appealing phrase so closely associated with highly valued concepts and beliefs that it carries conviction without supporting information or reason.

When Testimonial An important person or famous figure endorses a product or political figure.

When Card Stacking Manipulating audience perception of an issue by emphasizing one side and repressing another.

Name Calling The use of abusive names to belittle or humiliate another person in a political campaign, an argument, etc.
