milSuite is social business Today’s Objectives Why milSuite? milSuite is social business Points of Contact 1 2 3 4 5 Overview Demo and Support 30 March 2017 UNCLASSIFIED | Approved for Public Release

Why milSuite? NEED TO CONNECT and collaborate with peers, subordinates, and superiors IMPROPER USE of unapproved public social media leads to security concerns and breaches APPROVED TOOLS needed to support secure internal communications and collaboration ACCESS REQUIRED from anywhere and any CAC enabled devices Previously “DoD Landscape” - why would you use milSuite vice other “social” platforms? (Security Breaches/Hacks) In a fiscally constrained environment it is far too easy for users to forgo security and use public social media to collaborate. milSuite mimics the public social media experience and allows users to share securely all while using approved tools that are enterprise wide so cost effective. 30 March 2017 UNCLASSIFIED | Approved for Public Release

The important stuff We are a government program provided by Army CIO/G-6 We are an accredited business system hosted at DISA There is no barrier to entry other than your CAC …Just log in No hassle registration; we do it for you and use the DoD authoritative systems to build your profile No system admin required to get started – the power to start working and collaborating is in your hands Creates user profile on the fly – pulls information from DMDC Want to get started on milSuite – Just log in and you are up and running with no registration forms or approval needed. If you have a DoD CAC we want you to log in and check it out. 30 March 2017 UNCLASSIFIED | Approved for Public Release

Information is open AND secure milSuite is an accredited DoD business system available to DoD CAC holders, including Active and Reserve Military, DoD Civilians and Contractors to share UNCLASSIFIED // FOUO content milSuite information is open by default , and restricted by exception That means users can choose to share with other DoD personnel or restrict access to their content using simple privacy settings The DoD is traditionally need to know but over the last 5-10 years we have seen a major shift in needing to share. Sharing information across DoD services saves money, time and makes a smaller more knowledgeable DoD. Yet if you don’t want to share across the DoD and need to close the curtain you can do that too. 30 March 2017 UNCLASSIFIED | Approved for Public Release
