13 More on Tagging Photos on a Page You do not have to post photo to your personal profile first You can post as page (if you are admin) or as yourself Individual privacy settings to prevent yourself from being tagged or require pre- approval for tags (tagging restrictions can also be set by page)

14 You can tag photo using “@” sign before name of the page from your personal profile. It will appear on your personal profile AND the page

15 Facebook Profile Connected to friends Control privacy options: posts/pictures visible to certain people, friends, friends of friends, or everyone Ability to message friends, post on their walls, if they allow this

25 Posting: How much? Facebook PageRank (amount your page appears in newsfeed) depends on: New content User engagement (content that is shared, liked, commented on)

30 Blogging Sites Blog sites: WordPress and Blogger are top two Micro-blogging: Mini-blogs, for short updates, not as robust (Tumblr)

31 Blogger Easy to set up Easy to use Can make it part of own domain name (i.e. http://blog.megankeane.com ) Not as robust features Always hosted by Google

32 WordPress Tons of customization options Can be used for website or just as blog platform May use own domain name and host blog Very complex, sometimes beyond what you need Hard to figure out some functions
