I need an audit program ISACA’s Knowledge Center is an online meeting place for IT professionals who share common professional interests.  Participants can consume information, exchange expertise and experiences and build new understanding through collaboration.  _______________________________________________________________

What can you do in the Knowledge Center? Participate in Discussions Connect and Network with other professionals Contribute links and documents Collaborate in a wiki Participate in discussions – Users can ask questions, share insights and good practices and respond to questions to assist their colleagues. CLICK Connect with other Knowledge Center members by clicking on their name and then clicking “connect”. Once they have accepted, you can contact them through ISACA’s private messaging system. Links and documents can be added to the site to be shared with other users. Each topic has it’s own wiki. You can ask others to assist in in developing new content through the wiki.

The majority of ISACA topics are reserved for ISACA members, therefore you interact with your professional peers without worrying about solicitations.

5 Resources and Collaboration
The Knowledge Center houses all of ISACA’s research deliverables as well as topic-based communities. Members looking to access Audit Programs, ISACA Frameworks such as COBIT, Communities and collaboration tools or resources such as the e-library will find them in the Knowledge Center CLICK The Knowledge Center is accessible through the top navigation. Users should log into the web site to ensure the best user experience when visiting the Knowledge Center. To quickly access Knowledge Center resources, click a subject on the roll-over menu to access all resources related to the topic. To Browse Knowledge Center communities – referred to as “topics” – click on the Browse button.

6 Knowledge Center Topics
Visiting the Knowledge Center homepage users can access a variety of resources and browse Knowledge Center topic communities. CLICK These four tabs allow you to easily locate topic communities. “Featured Topics” contain six popular topics, the browse tab allows you to browse by category or alphabetical order, search allows you to search for a specific topics and “My Topics” lists all the topics you have joined. Encourage members to join multiple topics for professional resources and also personal interests that may differ from their current career. Try and connect a topic to a recent chapter event or a topic of popularity between within your chapter.

7 Knowledge Center Capabilities
Once a topic is selected you are taken to the it’s landing page where you can view information regarding the selected topic. Each topic page contains all content related to the topic, including discussions, documents and links. CLICK To join the community, click on the join button. Once you join, community members are able to participate in discussions, add document and links and contribute to wikis, which can be accessed by using the accordion in the center of the page. Start a new discussion to engage topic members worldwide. The value of the Knowledge Center comes from member participation and sharing experiences. Do you have a good practice to share, an interesting article you think other might find useful or just a question, do not hesitate to create a new discussion. Each topic can have up to four community topic leaders who help moderate the topic and facilitate discussion. Sharing and exchanging knowledge adds value to everyone including ISACA because it helps identify trends which can lead to the development of new whitepapers, audit programs or other research deliverables.

8 E-mail Enabled Discussions!
Set alerts by clicking on any discussion and then click the “set alert” button Manage alerts by clicking My Alerts in the upper right corner of the web site. Participating in discussion is now easier than ever! Simply respond to the alert. Stay informed on your discussions by setting alerts for each topic. CLICK Topic members can set the frequency of their alerts to weekly, daily, or immediate alerts. Weekly and daily alerts give you a summary of activity within the topic. Members can respond to discussions by responding to their immediate alerts. When there is a new post, an will be sent to the address users have provided to ISACA in their profile. Members can reply to the alert and the response will be posted within the discussion. Alerts can be set by accessing any of the discussion within the topic. Look for the “set alert/participate by button”. Manage alerts by clicking on MyAlerts. ___________________________________________________________ Emphasize that only immediate alerts are enabled.
