Go back to Naviance and submit the Letter of Recommendation Request/Thank You It is your responsibility to make sure your recommendations are submitted by your teacher, before the application deadline.

After the application is submitted and the FERPA certification is completed in the Common Application then Go back to Naviance to enter the email address you used for your Common Application and your date of birth.

Submission, Notification, and Acceptance of College Applications When Applications Should Be Submitted Early Decision – Refer to the college website for the specific date. Early Action – Refer to the college website for the specific date. Rolling Admission – Apply anytime, but earlier is better because programs and slots fill up. General Admission – Apply before Thanksgiving to insure your application is received before January 1st. SAT/ACT results do not need to be sent to colleges before you submit your application. Application Processing Pay attention to deadlines. Submit your completed Transcript Release Form at least 10 school days before your application due date. This time is needed for your counselor to write a letter of recommendation, to verify requested teacher letters of recommendations have been completed, and to give the counseling office secretaries time to process the request. Please note that many requests are submitted each day. We highly recommend that all college applications and Transcript Release Forms be submitted to your assigned secretary by Tuesday, November 20, 2018. A completed application and Transcript Release Form submitted on November 20, 2018 would be processed and sent out by December 8, 2017.
