Outside Agency Orientation Common Application Human Services Funding Local funding to support local nonprofit organizations that carryout human service work throughout the community. Community Development Block Grant Funding (CDBG) Federal funding for the purpose of developing viable urban communities by providing decent housing, suitable living environments, and expanding economic opportunities for low-and-moderate-income people. The Home Investment Partnership Program (HOME) – Federal Funding To expand the supply of decent, safe, sanitary and affordable housing, with emphasis on rental housing, for very low-and low-income citizens. To strengthen the abilities of state and local governments to design and implement strategies for achieving adequate supplies of decent affordable housing. To encourage public, private and nonprofit partnership in addressing housing needs.
