Identified need for a booster organization to support school districts athletic programs First official meeting held November 16, 2009 Constitution adopted on January 28, 2010 Entered agreement with Nebraska Community Foundation in July 2010, providing boosters with 501(c)(3) status

School administrators, coaching staff, school board members and Thayer Central Athletic (TCA) boosters have identified several areas of need Facilities and equipment have not been updated in more than 30 years! Over 80 percent of student body is involved in at least one extra curricular activity

Introducing the Thayer Central Community Schools

Improvement plan developed by W Design Associates of Hastings, Nebraska Previous experience includes Doane College in Crete, and Hastings College (Track & Field Complex) in Hastings Preliminary budget estimate $4.5 million The time has arrived for our athletic facilities to move forward

Relocate competition football field to main campus Develop new football practice field New construction on north end of Intermediate building to include press box, video balcony, stadium seating, locker rooms Expanded parking on east side of Intermediate building (and wheelchair accessible to stadium seating)

Resurface and expand track to include 8 lanes Take advantage of existing slope by creating terraces for long jump, triple jump and pole vault New construction also includes commons area, concession area, public restrooms Option to expand seating in Intermediate gym to accommodate tournaments
