CREATIVE ELEMENTS- Handles, lids, surface treatment: Objective: You will brainstorm ideas and describe your functions in order to select and apply parts to a form. DRILL: GET AN IPAD TO LOOK AT IDEAS. GO TO EDMODO. Draw 6 boxes in your sketchbook. In each box, draw your vessel shape or intended vessel shape. Draw ideas for: SURFACE TREATMENT HANDLES LIDS NEXT CLASS: 3 OR MORE DRAWINGS- IF YOU ARE HERE- DO THIS TODAY. How will you be inspired by one of the cultures to create design elements? Will you relief carve, paint, and sculpture?

Be creative. (Stylize an animal as a design element.) Add designs that are similar to and inspired by Native American, Celtic, Greek, or Mayan art.- Carve, paint, or sgrafitto.
