Why Aylmerton?

It is a small, family-run business established in 1988 It is a small, family-run business established in 1988. Since opening they have welcomed more than 50,000 children and 3,700 teachers, served 190,000 cooked breakfasts and crossed the marshes at Blakeney over 1200 times!

Sleeping Arrangements Children sleep in rooms which vary in size. As much as I can, I try to put them with at least one of their two choices. All accommodation is private and not shared with any other visiting schools. Staff have their own rooms close to children’s rooms and are available throughout the night. Hotel staff are also available on call throughout the night should there be any need to need to call them.

A packed lunch is eaten at a suitable point during the day and there are plenty of opportunities to have a drink or a rest or reapply sun cream etc. (staff are very good at insisting that children cover up in hot weather or wear enough layers in cold weather).
