6 Kit List It’s helpful if the children are involved in packing so they learn how to pack and can see what they are taking with them. Please write names on as many things as possible – we get lots of things left behind each week. Please do not bring mobile phones, music players, computer games, jewellery and fashion clothes. Your child can bring up to £7 for the souvenir shop. For health and safety reasons do not bring aerosol deodorants or other sprays. Roll-on and stick deodorants are fine. They provide you with a waterproof jacket, waterproof over-trousers, walking boots and rucksack. If you have your own wellies or walking boots, bring them along, but again make sure that they are named. Bring a single bottom sheet, duvet cover and pillowcase – NOT a sleeping bag. Practice fitting a duvet cover before you arrive ! Casual, warm clothes are most useful. If clothes get wet they can be dried in the drying room. Jeans are not suitable for activities.

8 Behaviour Almost all children behave well in this setting and have a great time. If the centre believes that a child is not behaving and is a danger to themselves or other children then they have a right to ask them to leave. Parents would be responsible for coming to pick them up.

9 Communication We will use an Arthog page on the website to keep you updated on how the children are getting on. Only in an emergency will we contact you directly. If you need to contact your child, due to an emergency the please contact the school who will get a message to us.
