Learning the procedures of Daily 5 Learning to read with “Stamina” language: Reviewing letters and vowel sounds Short “a” sound spelling: Preparing for baseline test Spelling will start Monday! We are differentiating our spelling to help those who struggle and those who need to be challenged, in a few weeks! ;) September 15th –Field Trip to the City Park Retake picture day will be October 19th! STAR Reading and Math Test on Wednesday-get lots of sleep! A Note from Your Teacher: n Please make sure your student is arriving at school on time at 8:20 a.m. please. We have PE or Music everyday at 8:30 a.m. so coming prepared and ready is very important! Important Message r Make sure your student is prepared for the school day. This may include tennis shoes for gym days, notes from you that need to be given to the teacher if something changes about pickup, lunch money, cold lunch, breakfast, good night of sleep, and a big hug when they are on their way to school from you! Be the “good” in their day, because I will try to be their “good” at school! September birthdays z Landin B. – September 24th We will celebrate birthday in the classroom with a treat for the birthday boy or girl and singing. It is a choice for you as a family if you want to bring treats for the class. We have no food allergies this year! We will celebrate ½ birthdays too! Notes will be send home when a ½ birthday gets close.
