7th Grade Health Guest Speakers Mrs. Mackey 7th Grade Health 2016-2017 Late Work Absentee Policy 2016-2017 My expectation is that ALL assignments be completed to a level of proficiency and turned in on time. With that said, I also understand that things come up. Late work will be accepted , but student will lose 10% of points for each day it is late. If a pattern of late work is noticed, it will be discussed with both student and parents. Please keep in mind that some teachers do not accept late work. It is extremely important for the student to turn things in on time. * YES, WE DID SOMETHING IMPORTANT WHILE YOU WERE ABSENT. It is the student’s responsibility to check the absent work folder that is hanging in the classroom to find any assignments missed. Student should also check with teacher. * A student has two extra days to turn in any work assigned on a day a student was absent. If a quiz was administered on a day a student was absent, the quiz must be made up on the first day the student returns. If previously assigned work was due on the day of the absence, the work is due on the first day the student returns. Technology iPads will be used in Health class. Make sure your bring your iPad with you to class every day. Students are expected to abide by all school and district digital safety rules and guidelines. Students should only be on their iPads when told to do so. No cell phone are allowed out at anytime. See the student handbook in regards to the cell phone policy.
