Apprenticeships our story Hull City Council employs just under six thousand staff. Employee training and development are key to business. The City Council has shown a commitment to employing apprentices now for a number of years. We currently offer apprenticeships within the council department's at levels 2, 3 and 4 Hull City Council is committed to providing up to 100 apprenticeships through Hull Training and Adult Education each year

Apprenticeships our story The current apprenticeship programme has proved to be a very successful programme and we will continue to develop it within the City Council. On average 82% of our apprentices progress into a positive destination There are many instances where an apprentice has joined as a level 2 and on completion progresses to a level 3 apprenticeship. Of the 91 apprentices currently employed 46 are level 2 and 45 are level 3. New opportunities are identified all the time and the benefits to both the apprentice and the Council are evident.
