Schedule Friday Children come to school as usual in the morning. Collect your child from school at 12:20pm. Take them home for lunch and prepare them for the weekend. Arrive at the Arethusa Centre at 4:00pm in the car park at the rear. Teachers and Arethusa staff members will come to collect the children. This is when you leave and enjoy your quiet weekend!

Before they have their dinner they will make their beds (you may need to practice this before you send them). After dinner they will have an evening activity in the gym and go for a swim in the pool.

Schedule Saturday Breakfast is at 8:30am Children undertake 2 activities before lunch at 12:30pm and two before dinner at 5:30pm. In the evening they will get a chance to go to the shop .(They should need no more than £5.00 for the shop) We will all watch a film together before bed. (children may bring sweets or popcorn)

Groups Children are grouped for all activities with two adults assigned to each group. These working groups will be organised by the year group teachers. Children will be allowed to choose the people they share their room with but not their working groups. Rooms will consist of 6 children and there is one room of 12. We will ask the children to give room requests in to Ms Dennis by Friday 3rd March (written down on paper please).

There are showers and toilets at the end of each corridor. Buildings/Safety We are the only school on site and will have two buildings. One for the boys and one for the girls. There are showers and toilets at the end of each corridor. The buildings are always locked and staff are the only ones who have the keys.

Kit You have been given a kit list as a guide. Please make sure you name all clothing. Include a bin bag to put any wet and muddy clothes in. Please do not buy new clothes. Old clothes are more suitable. If possible, please use a large bag/suitcase as children will find it easier when they have to pack for themselves.

Don’t forget: Toiletries (shower gel, toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant etc). Swimming costumes (goggles if required). Towel (maybe two) Bin Bag Waterproofs Outdoor shoes to get muddy Hats, gloves and scarves. Money for shop (No more than £5). Bedding ( pillow case, duvet cover or sleeping bag).

Aerosols (roll-ons only). Don’t bring: Any electronics Mobile phones Expensive cameras Jewellery Aerosols (roll-ons only).

Medication: Please ensure you have completed any necessary forms . If your child needs to be administered any medication at all please approach us before we go and tell us what it is and when they need it. Medication should not be put in bags.
