Parts of a Letter

 There are five major parts of a friendly letter. The heading  The greeting,  The body,  The closing,  The signature Have you ever written a letter ?

 The heading usually includes the date and the address.  In some cases it’s okay to just write the date. The Heading

 Usually starts with the word Dear, the person’s name, and a comma.  The greeting is important to let the person know you’re writing to them. The Greeting

 The body is the main text of the letter it is not just a sentence.  Next, you skip one line.  The first sentence of he body of the letter needs to be indented. The Body

 The closing includes a short capitalized expression like Love or Sincerely.  This is followed by a comma. The Closing

 This is where you would sign your name.  Make sure you skip a line before writing the closing! The Signature

 He loves cars.  He wants to be a mechanic one day.  Football is his favorite sport (Jets and the Seahawks).  He loves Disney movies. His favorite movie is Hercules.  Captain America is his favorite super hero.  His favorite food is steak.  He loves country music.  He is a fan of playing video games. In particular he likes Grand Theft Auto and Call of Duty!  The beach is his favorite place to go! Nicholas
