Program of Studies Grade

The Course Selection Process  Step 1: –Share course selection information with your parents –See all of your most recent teachers in each discipline to obtain their level recommendation and signature

The Course Selection Process  Step 2: –The shaded area should include all courses you have been recommended for. Please include the course # –If any course you wish to be included in your schedule differs from the teacher recommendation, a waiver form must be completed

The Course Selection Process  Step 3: –Once all teacher recommendations have been initialed, obtain your parent’s signature at the top of the form. Teacher’s will not sign off on forms that were already signed by a parent so this must be the last step  Step 4: –Return completed selection sheet to guidance by Wednesday, March 30th If you do not return your selection sheet by the deadline, courses may be assigned for you

Tips  Include your parents in the decision-making process  Meet with your guidance counselor this week – sign up sheets are on the round table in guidance  Do not wait until the last minute to see your teachers  Choose carefully, it will not always be possible to make a change later
