Electronics and DAQ status Frontend - covers – Preparation of the final cover version and production Design finished Mounting of RJ45 verified using selective soldering – Production Offer from BB electronics ~50kCHF Prototype 5-6 weeks Test at CERN 1-2 weeks Full production 8-10 weeks October at best – Test bench being designed Groups of even/odd channels at the same time Apart from functionality – Crude sensitivity – TDC performance?

Electronics and DAQ status DAQ-SRB – Due to lack of manpower we consider skipping TEL62 and send data directly from SRB to PC-farm – 2 options Push all data Trigger selected only With L0->1MHz probably only small difference in data flow – Also possibility to run stand-alone and write data to on-board buffer – Checking possibility to time-order the data on SRB using memory Address mapped time+straw Wait for max data time arrival difference for the same events Send data to output buffer – Need more estimates and simulations on data flows and memory sizes – 1 SRB/half view – 8 SRB/chamber – 32 SRB total – Current price estimate < 3kCHF – Prototype expected end of year
