Summer School 2014 June 30 to July 31 Monday through Thursday 19 days

High School Courses offered are for Credit Recovery Face to Face: Algebra, Biology, English 10, Government Online: approved courses through Plato. Students must work a minimum of two days per week at school. Held at Easton Middle School Tuition charge: $100

Middle School For students who have failed one or more courses Face to Face: English Language Arts, Math, and/or Science/Social Studies Held at Easton Middle School Tuition charge: $100

Elementary 19 Day Focuses on helping students improve or maintain their skills Teachers use Engineering is Elementary modules as well as Math Triumphs Embedding a research and writing piece School within a school: WM and CD are continuing their reading interventions during this time as well. 20 slots per school

Title I Extended School Year program June 30 – August 7 The morning program is the same as the Elementary 19 day program At noon the YMCA runs a camp that includes: swimming lessons, trips to the Y, use of the climbing wall, arts and crafts Bus home at 4:00

SMASH June 30 – July 31 For St. Michaels Elementary students The morning program is the same as the Elementary 19 day program At noon the YMCA runs a camp that includes: swimming lessons, trips to the Y, use of the climbing wall, arts and crafts Bus home at 4:00

Judy Center Attended by EES students in P3, PreK and K 19 days Purpose is to help students transition to the next grade level. Science literacy curriculum will provide the basis for the teaching Additional programming to incorporate training for parents

Additional Information Transportation is provided to elementary students from their usual bus stop. Middle and high school students may board from those locations as well. In addition to money provided by the local budget, Title I funds, other federal and state funds and money from SMASH and the YMCA is utilized. Free breakfast and lunch are provided through a federal grant.
