Grace Anne’s Student Led Conference Portfolio By: Grace Anne H.

On a scale of 1-5 (5 being the best) rate yourself on your ability to complete all the assignments for class. Why?  I would rate myself a 4.5 because I turn in my work on time, and for labs and project I may turn them in early when it is allowed. I would rate my self a 4.5 and not a 5 also because there is always room from improvement. Also I keep my homework listed in my planner.

On a scale of 1-5 (5 being the best) rate yourself on your class time effort & positive contributions to class discussion(s). Why?  I would rate my self a 4.5 because I almost always contribute to class. When he asks people to read in class, I almost always raise my hand. Reading out loud helps me understand concepts better. In class I always do my work and spend my time wisely. If I get it done at school, then I have the opportunity to ask questions, and if I did the assignment at home I wouldn’t be able to ask for help.

On a scale of 1-5 (5 being the best) rate yourself on your ability to work with others in class. Why?  I would rate myself a 5 because I feel like I could work with mostly everyone in the class. For worksheets and labs we usually work with the people at the table. At the start of the school year, we pick partners to sit next to the whole year. For projects we usually get to pick our partners.

Describe items you want to improve on for next quarter/year.  What I want to improve on next quarter:  Try to ask for extra credit opportunities  Turn mostly all of the projects/labs in early  What I want to improve on next year:  Do well in Honors Bio. Next year  Maintain my work load and ask lots of questions.

Describe what when well in this school year.  I have turned all of my homework in on time. I keep track of my homework in my planner. I fill it out everyday with the homework for each class.  Also I have gotten good test and quiz grades.  When I have had questions, I ask the teacher. Mr. Mixon helps us understand things when we are confused.
