Confucianism Confucianism is a way of life taught by Confucius in the 6th–5th century BCE. Sometimes viewed as a philosophy, sometimes as a religion. It has deeply influenced spiritual and political life in China; its influence has also extended to Korea, Japan, and Vietnam. Confucianism. (n.d.). Confucius works(legacy) It was whilst he was teaching in his school that Confucius started to write. Two collections of poetry were the Book of Odes and the Book of Documents. The Spring and Autumn Annals, which told the history of Lu, and the Book of Changes was a collection of treatises on divination. The Analects of Confucius is an anthology of brief passages that present the words of Confucius and his disciples, describe Confucius as a man, and recount some of the events of his life. The Analects includes twenty books, each generally featuring a series of chapters that encompass quotes from Confucius, which were compiled by his disciples after his death Confucianism. (n.d.). Confucius impact on society Confucianism brought a stability into a country, which had been affected, in many ways from previous changeovers in dynasties.  He enforced through his philosophy, and turned Ancient China into a structured society. This structured society was based on work effort given by the social class. Every people have they own place, but as in Confucius teachings no one can’t humiliate another according his status or class. Everyone fulfills their responsibilities and creates a harmonious situation where the whole country prospers. Influence of confucianism. (2015, May 12). Impact on education Confucius made another impact on society by creating a school. The school educated young boys in the way of Confucianism and also taught them Calligraphy so many of the boys went on to becoming scholars. A form of public education system was established later in Han dynasty. Not only elites from upper classes can go to the schools, also people from lower classes can get good education Confucius had three thousand disciples and hence summarized many effective educational methods that are using nowadays too.

Education nowadays Confucius definitely played huge role on education of China people. It’s no secret that Chinese (and other Asian) students put in more hours in classroom study those there Western counterparts. In comparing of United States education in China much better and spreading faster As Confucius said “Education is the key to advancement in society” therefore China now is well developed country with advanced society

Impact for education in all world Nowadays many countries build free school Many developed countries take a lot of attention to new generation education, for that they create many universities, organizations and schools Importance of education. Impact on culture On a related subject, Chinese culture has always had a heavy emphasis on the family. In a Confucian society, one shows a great deal of “filial piety” or devotion and obedience one must show to parents, but over time, it was extended to ancestors, giving rise to ancestor worship. Moreover Confucius teaches people to follow traditions, rituals, so they will focus in values. This tradition help people to be more careful, tolerant and I think Confucius is right every generation should know their family traditions and customs. It affect in their worldview, people start to focus on family values

Impact on people lives The beliefs of Confucianism made woman subordinate throughout the religion. This re-affirmed the claim that woman were not as powerful or wise as men, so why in our world an equality among women and me. I think it is really good, therefore many countries did an equal an same rights to all people The ideology and culture of Confucianism have the effects of maintaining kingship, regulating confliction, and stabilizing society The World of Chinese. Legacy Following his death in 479 BCE, Confucius was buried in his family’s tomb in Qufu and, over the following centuries, his stature grew so that he became the subject of worship in schools during the Han Dynasty and temples were established in his name at all administrative capitals during the Tang Dynasty. Throughout the imperial period an extensive knowledge of the fundamental texts of Confucianism was a necessity in order to pass the civil service selection examinations. Educated people often had a tablet of Confucius’ writings prominently displayed in their houses and statues, most often seated and dressed in imperial costume to symbolize his status as ‘the king without a throne’. Portrait prints were also popular, but unfortunately, no contemporary portrait of Confucius survives but he is most often portrayed as a wise old man with long grey hair Pictures, Photos of Confucius Temple, Shanghai, China. (n.d.). Retrieved February 21, 2016, from http://www.shunya.net/Pictures/China/Shanghai/ConfuciusTemple.html
