What Does this mean? Course Level Descriptions Advanced Placement (AP) College level Courses designed to prepare students for the AP Exam given by College Board Pre Advanced Placement (PreAP) Offered instead of an Honors class and is designed to prepare students for the rigor of an AP course. Outstanding academic achievement is required College Preparatory (CP) Courses which meet the entrance requirement of the UC/CSU Systems (A-G) and most other Colleges & Universities Honors (H) Courses which meet the A-G requirements and offer an in-depth coverage of the subject. Outstanding academic achievement is required.

What Does this mean? Course Level Descriptions Transition (TR) College Prep course with additional support General Courses taught at the general level that do not meet the requirements of college and university admissions. Specialized Academic Instruction (SAI) Special Education is a federally mandated program for students with disabilities. Placement based on IEP (Individualized Academic Plan) Specifically Designed Academic Instruction in English (SDAIE) Classes offered for those demonstrating limited or no English skills. Response to Intervention (RTI) Courses designed to offer individualized support for students
