Define the Problem What problem needs to be fixed? How can it be improved?

Research Gather information on the topic. Books, magazines, journals, interviews, internet.

Hypothesis A suggested answer to the problem. Testable explanation. It is not important that the hypothesis is correct!!!!!!!

Experiment A step by step procedure used to investigate the hypothesis. Write down all of the steps in the procedure. Keep a record of ALL experiment information.

Results Write down: materials, observations, mistakes, and data. Create charts and graphs of your data.

Conclusion It summarizes all of your data. Look back at your Hypothesis. Did you prove it correct or incorrect?
