Bell Work: 8/15/13 Please pick up your name tent and find your seat from last week. Please pull out your syllabus and turn it in today.

Class Notebook Every student will have a class note book that will be provide by Mr. Gaspar. The purpose of this note book will be to organize completed class work, bell work & notes per course units, SAE record book sheets and other class assignments.

Class Notebook Grading 1. Organization (25) The notebook will be broken up into different section and will have tabs for each section that will be established by Mr. Gaspar. 2. Neatness (25) No Graffiti No loose papers. Everything should be 3 –hole punched and in the appropriate sections.

Class Notebook Grading 3. Completeness (25) All assignments should be placed in their correct sections Assignment description sheets should be completely filled out with all assignments and with points available and earned for the assignment 4. Accuracy (25) Mr. Gaspar will determine if the notebook is accurate with all of the assignment information. Points will be deducted for not having assignments in the right place, not have bell work completed & incorrect assignments listed on assignment sheets

Student Notebooks Should Be: User friendly Contain all bell work, class work, notes, SAE record sheets, class rules and policies, syllabus and info cards. Notebooks should always be up to date so they can be used on open book quizzes.

Decorating Notebooks Please DO NOT draw or write directly on your note books. They will be used again next year. You may draw and write appropriate items on paper and insert them into the plastic sleeves of the notebooks. No Graffiti Keep the sleeves clutter free * Other Guidelines may be established later.

Notebook Checks Notebooks will be check on FFA Fridays randomly at least once a month if not more. This will be part of you SAE/FFA grade in class The notebook grades will be calculated in to your grade every quarter.

Bathroom Pass Policies Passes will not be used during the first 10 min or the last 10 min of class. You will receive a ticket worth 8 bathroom passes a semester. Please raise your hand to use the bathroom and bring up your pass to be signed by Mr. Gaspar. Please sign out on the bathroom sign out sheet and enter all of the requested information. You will have 5 minutes to use the bathroom. For every extra minute you are gone you will owe it at the end of class. If the bathroom is closed please come back and notify me 1 st before seeking an alternate bathroom.
