16 Career Clusters All elective courses fall into a Career Cluster area, set forth by the Illinois State Board of Education Creating pathways and opportunities for students

Post-Secondary Planning 93% of EGHS students attend college A major college criteria is course rigor 2-year colleges, trade schools, and the military all have entrance exams and minimum basic skill entrance exams and requirements Harper Community College will test your child Senior Year for course placement and many programs now have entry requirements

Minimum Graduation Requirements Minimum Graduation Requirements 4 years/credits of English 3 years/credits of Math- Recommended 4 Algebra, Geometry, Advanced Math 2 years/credits of Science- Recommended 4 Biology, Chemistry, Physics 3 years/credits of Social Science Human Geography, World History, US History Physical Education every semester
