Credits are awarded at the end of each semester.
Each semester of high school you have the potential to earn 4 credits. You can earn a total of 8 credits for the entire school year (unless you are enrolled in a double blocked course such as band or athletics. Your total will be 7 credits).
In order to earn a credit, you must receive a grade of 70 or higher and meet the 90% attendance requirement.

- Excessive absences could result in a loss of credit for the semester

Naviance
Web-based resource for students and parents that encourages and supports high school, college, and career planning
Access the Naviance website from the ORHS College and Career Counseling page (Use Canvas login of “squishname” and stuID#)
Student MUST have an updated address for college and career updates.

12. Tutorials
Tutorials are available for all core classes (English, Math, Science, Social Studies) and foreign language.
Schedule will be posted online, on teacher Canvas page, or hard copy is in the Counseling/AP offices.
Tutorials are recommended and suggested for any student who needs help and for those who need to prepare for taking a retest.
